Dr Brick is fellowship trained in sports orthopaedic surgery, and a graduate of the University of Auckland School of Medicine and the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association Training Programme.

He has also represented New Zealand at World Championship level in cycling. He remains actively involved in sport through racing, coaching and research. Orthosports is based at New Zealand’s premier sports facility, AUT Millennium.

Dr Brick undertook fellowship training in Pittsburgh working with Dr Freddie Fu (knee) and Dr Marc Philippon (hip), as well as in Perth with Dr Keith Holt and Dr Greg Witherow. He supervises fellowship training of orthopaedic surgeons from New Zealand and overseas and is involved in clinical research, lecturing and publishing on his results.
